Mechanical-slide projections and theatrical lantern shows
Glass-slide pictures become a party’s moving backdrop
Magic Lantern Exhibition / Elliott & Schlemowitz
Dawn Elliott and Joel Schlemowitz explicitly offer magic-lantern slide projections as a backdrop for receptions and parties. Their repertoire also includes theatrical ghost projections using a wheeled replica fantascope and a miniature painted-paper raree theater. Those specialty presentations are separate options to discuss, not automatically included with the party projection service.

Confirm the requested format, audience tone, date, travel, darkness, screen, power and equipment space. The phantasmagoria needs particular projection space and uses theatrical effects, not supernatural phenomena. Original slides and reproduction apparatus vary by program; no blanket historical-authenticity or wedding-package promise. Listed 2026–27 public engagements do not establish private-date availability. The duo and Joel’s related personal booking identity are one listing.
