Private ghost-lore and Victorian funeral-history tours
Take your group inside a storied mansion after dark
New Castle Historical Society / Hauntings in History
The society’s Hauntings in History route combines an interior visit to Amstel House with darkened streets and alleyways, local ghost legends, Victorian funeral customs and crime-and-punishment stories. Its current tour invitation expressly permits separately arranged private groups of ten or more rather than requiring guests to join a public departure.
Current location note / listed area: New Castle, Delaware; arranged local walking tours
This is a guided folklore/history experience, not a guarantee of paranormal activity or a wedding package. Private dates require direct confirmation and cannot overlap scheduled public tours; most of the route is outdoors and the provider recommends ages 13 and up.
