Nicole Katzman’s Taos Tintype offers both onsite couple portraits and a live reception setup that makes individual metal-plate images through wet-plate collodion photography. The operator also accepts private dinners and parties, and can recreate an existing meaningful photograph as a tintype by commission.

Current location note / listed area: Taos, New Mexico; onsite event routing by inquiry

Handmade chemical photography has a slower throughput than a digital booth. Confirm guest capacity, exposure and strobe requirements, suitable processing area, travel, varnishing and final delivery. No permanent-lifetime guarantee is adopted. Only the current Taos studio establishes state coverage; willingness to travel beyond New Mexico is not mapped to other states.
