Private nocturnal and protected-contact encounters
Explore the zoo with night-vision goggles
Oglebay Good Zoo
Private keeper-led cart tours and group animal encounters are offered alongside a small-group after-dark experience using night-vision goggles. Species-specific bookings include protected-contact maned-wolf and red-river-hog experiences.
Current location note / listed area: Wheeling, West Virginia; additional locations by inquiry only
Confirm which format is exclusive and available on your date; nighttime and species-specific slots are limited. Protected contact is not animal petting, and the zoo generally discourages holding wild animals. Age, footwear and clothing rules vary; future2027 lion plans are not treated as a currently available experience.
