Arranged dinosaur-fossil dig outings
Plan a group expedition to a working dinosaur-fossil dig.
Dig Wyoming Dinosaurs / Wyoming Fossils
Robert Bowen’s operation invites reservation-only guided dinosaur-fossil digs and group inquiries in eastern Wyoming. Its current homepage advertises a 2026 schedule, while the linked Wyoming Fossils shop identifies the same owners and contact details. Fossil preparation is a separate service.
Current location note / listed area: Wyoming; arranged digs near Newcastle and Lusk, operator shop in Kemmerer
This is an arranged group outing, not an exclusive ranch rental or wedding package. Dig-season availability is limited; confirm the next accepted date, participant ages, physical requirements, access, equipment and specimen-retention rules. The operator warns of heat, storms, rattlesnakes and biting insects, with shade, toilets and phone service not always available. Guests must remain within the dig area. No find, species, ownership right, collecting authorization or safety certification is guaranteed; preparation services are not automatically included.
