Guest-character mysteries and theatrical officiants
Let your guests become the characters in a mystery.
Red Herring Productions / Red Herring Mysteries
Red Herring Productions offers customized audience-participation mysteries, including a bed-and-breakfast format in which the company supplies the game and guests play its characters. Its current repertoire includes historical and literary parody settings. The same operator separately advertises character wedding officiants and historical-character appearances; these are distinct inquiries, not an automatic combined wedding package.
Current location note / listed area: Colorado-based company; private theatrical experiences by inquiry
Confirm the chosen script, voluntary guest roles, content, cast, venue, accessibility, date and travel acceptance. Lodging, food and a private property are not automatically included. Character-officiant availability does not establish legal authority to solemnize a marriage; confirm applicable requirements independently. Some specific service pages were inaccessible or presented verification challenges, so use the readable official contact route and reconfirm details. Dated public shows are not future private availability, and announced coming-soon titles are excluded. Colorado base is attributed to the current 2026 event host; no nationwide state coverage inferred.
