Private butterfly-mounting and oddity workshops
Make a delicate specimen display at a macabre bridal gathering.
The Floral Craft
This floral-and-oddities studio offers private workshops for bridal showers and parties, with butterfly pinning among its advertised repertoire. Its butterfly class teaches specimen spreading and mounting with a prepared butterfly, mounting plank and entomology pins; other listed themes include beetles and floral besoms.
Current location note / listed area: La Mesa, California; private studio workshops by inquiry
Private bridal-shower workshops are explicit, but confirm that the butterfly format can be scheduled for your group. A November 2026 public butterfly listing says tickets are not on sale; it is process evidence, not an available reservation or guaranteed private date. This uses preserved specimens, not live releases. Ask about specimen provenance, tools, accessibility and comfort with animal remains; no ethical-sourcing or safety certification is inferred. Danielle’s florist and oddity-workshop services are one operator.
