Tailored private small-forging apprenticeship
Spend studio time developing a personal metalwork project with its maker
Erica Moody Fine Metal Work / Maine Creative Residency
Erica Moody offers a privately planned metalworking apprenticeship in her barn studio, developing a project with the participant rather than following a standard party template. Her stated techniques include small forgings, forming and brazing; her practice includes sculptural serving utensils. A particular utensil or other project is a request to discuss, not a fixed advertised syllabus.
Current location note / listed area: Waldoboro, Maine barn studio; private instruction by arrangement
Directly confirm project acceptance, duration, tools and instructor-versus-participant roles, materials, skill level and date. One-to-one instruction can accommodate up to two additional people by arrangement, not automatically. The product page displays both a cart and backorder wording; neither establishes a slot. Optional lodging is separate, with dated residency notices requiring confirmation. No finished food-safe object, completion time, mobile or wedding service is promised.

The owned biography explicitly locates Erica Moody’s working home-based barn studio in Midcoast Maine, while current workshop and business pages identify Waldoboro. The former Magma Metalworks identity and linked Maine Creative Residency are consolidated; the separate PO box and teaching tour locations are not the basis for coverage.
