Albacore Park / Portsmouth Submarine & Maritime Association
Albacore Park offers birthday and group visits combining its museum submarine with outdoor gathering space, plus separately coordinated after-hours private events. The retired USS Albacore rests in a dry basin: visitors can explore its compartments, look through a periscope and hear recorded crew stories. An optional guided tour can be discussed for group arrangements.

This is not a sailing or diving experience, and private rental does not permit an unrestricted party inside the submarine. No food or drink is allowed inside, and alcohol is prohibited on park property. Narrow hatches, low ceilings and18-inch stepovers significantly limit access; children under two cannot board. Confirm season, staffing, weather, exact spaces and tour format; regular winter closure runs roughly mid-December to mid-February.
