Privately arranged raku instruction
Arrange a small raku ceramics session with a working artist.
Delora Bertsch / Bertsch Raku
Ceramic artist Delora Bertsch expressly invites private raku workshops for adults and children at her Angels Gate studio. Her workshop page describes glazing and firing bisque pieces, with Perry Okimoto named as a co-instructor for the shared raku program. This is a request-based specialist ceramics session, not a guaranteed private slot in the separately listed monthly public workshop.
Current location note / listed area: San Pedro, California; private raku instruction by arrangement
Confirm current private acceptance, group size, participant ages, communication and access needs, instructor involvement, required clay or prepared bisque, exact guest versus staff roles around hot firing, smoke and site requirements. Beginners may require separate making and later firing sessions; finished-piece use and collection timing are not guaranteed. Older contact pages retain elapsed public dates while newer host pages list 2026 activity; those dates do not establish private availability. No wedding package, guest hot-handling, food-safe outcome or safety assurance.
