Weddings with private animal-viewing packages
Give the cocktail hour a rhino-and-penguin detour.
Blank Park Zoo
Blank Park Zoo offers wedding, rehearsal-dinner and shower rentals with optional animal-viewing packages. Its wedding FAQ specifically describes winter indoor viewing of rhinos, giraffes, tortoises and penguins rather than implying that a bare venue rental includes unrestricted animal access.
Current location note / listed area: Des Moines, Iowa
Viewing is an extra arranged package, not touching, feeding or a guaranteed close encounter. Species visibility, welfare restrictions, sunset schedules and weather affect the experience; outdoor music and lighting restrictions apply. Confirm the current available exhibits and package before booking.
