Private parties in a transformable historic theatre
Celebrate inside a theatre whose orchestra floor changes angle
Rochester Opera House
Rochester Opera House offers its theatre for private celebrations, with a mechanical orchestra-floor system that converts sloped audience seating into a level social floor. A group can arrange the level-floor setting with tables, dancing and use of the stage beneath the horseshoe balcony.

The floor’s configurability is a venue feature, not a promised moving-floor performance during a party or an activity guests operate. Confirm the available configuration, date, staffing, technical use and wedding suitability. Rental and technical pages differ on table capacity and accessibility, so obtain a current event-specific layout and access plan. The separate performance-arts center is not this historic space.
